A well-established family business providing web design and technology services has been operating successfully for 20 years with stable revenue and profitability.

However the Directors recognised the need for change to achieve growth and security for the future but with the pressures of daily operations and the range of options were struggling to identify a clear path for change.

Bespoke Change were asked to support the Directors in a series of workshops and individual coaching to help create the right environment for clear decisions to be taken.

The Assignment

1: What needed to change?

An initial assessment of the business found that:

  • The revenue base was stable and successful
  • Directors were uncertain and not aligned on how best to grow
  • There was some resistance and risk aversion to taking on further employees

2: The Objectives

The business agreed the following objectives for the remit extension:

  • Coach the Directors to provide a clear vision for change
  • Help identify options for financial security and planning
  • Create a plan for implementing the agreed change

3: Our Assignment

Michael Fekete, Director of Bespoke Change lead the implementation of the benefits management framework

  • Role: Coach and adviser
  • Reporting: to Managing Director
  • Duration: 3 months, part-time focused sessions

The key elements of this assignment included:

  • Undertook desktop and workshop based review with Directors
  • Identified options for delivering the vision for change
  • Co-developed a roadmap for change addressing agreed problem areas
